Laboratory Testing

Naturopathic lab testing is an effective way to diagnose many medical conditions. Toronto naturopathic doctor Dr. Andresen will perform both standard and specialized naturopathic lab tests as part of the assessment process. This enables her to evaluate your health, screen for potential health conditions, and monitor the progress of your naturopathic treatment.

Naturopathic doctors can order many of the same diagnostic tests as your family physician, such as blood work, stool, urine, and saliva testing. Depending on your health concerns, Dr. Andresen can check your iron panel, blood cholesterol and triglycerides, thyroid panel, complete blood count, liver enzyme levels, kidney function, and blood glucose testing. She can also perform an H Pylori Breath Test, Stool Ova and Parasite testing.

Dr. Andresen also performs a wide range of lab tests on-site at her Toronto naturopathic clinic, including urinalysis, random blood glucose, body fat assessment, Indican test for bowel toxicity, Zinc Tally test for zinc deficiency and a Koenisburg Test to check for adrenal gland health and determine if you have adrenal fatigue.
